Today is October! That means we are officially in your birthday month! {or at least I am hoping!} By the way, I will do everything I can to try and make you come out in October. I think we would both enjoy our birthday months to be separate, so we can each celebrate for a month and not have to share. {Someday you will learn about how your mama is the only child and how that explains a lot about her. I hope you will have a sibling to grow up with, but don't you worry about that now. Let's just get you out and about!} However, if there is one person that I wouldn't mind sharing it with, it would be you.
I hope that you are happy in there! Enjoy it while you can. You get all of your food and liquids provided without having to ask for them. It's nice and warm and dark and cozy. Not loud or bright. I want to make your birth as easy as possible for you, but it's also up to the hospital and doctor to comply, so we will see. {Mama has a negative opinion about hospitals and births, but I won't bore you with that nonsense.} You won't remember it anyway. Just come out healthy and happy, and the rest won't matter so much.
Anyway, I am off to cut out lots of bats out of paper to decorate for Halloween to surprise your daddy. He loves this holiday more than anything. {Well, he definitely loves you more, but it's a close call!} This Halloween will be extra extra special for him.
